This week, I’m going to share the insights from my good friend and colleague, Rajesh Setty:
Hello all:
Most people who take others for granted rarely do it on purpose.
Sometimes they forget.
Sometimes they are busy.
Sometimes they forget because they are busy.
You probably are an exception and have never taken anyone for granted OR you probably fall into one of the above three categories.
Whatever may be the reason you took someone for granted and forgot about it, one thing is sure – the person on the other end most likely have not forgotten about it. He or she will probably never say a word about it ever, but that does not take away the fact that what happened was wrong.
Luckily…
You can fix it.
Before it’s too late, do the following:
- Make a list of people you will thank next week.
- Next week, please thank them (without resorting to the “busy” excuse)
And, then, repeat the above every week throughout the year.
If you want to thank someone but are at a loss of words, my box of thoughtful cards might help. There are 101 of them – all expressing gratitude with space for a personal message ready to be written and posted.
Here is the complete gallery of the 101 cards:

Have a fantastic holiday season.
Warmly,
Rajesh
I could not have said it any better. Happy holidays to all of you….Dave
